Since April 2014, Go Ahead London (London General) have taken full control of the London operations of Metrobus. - To standardise the bus fleet and replace slightly older vehicles, a replacement programme is underway.

This has seen the start of the Scania OmniDekka being withdrawn. OmniDekka's have been the standard double decker bus for Metrobus since August 2002 until 2007.

OmniDekka's can be found on routes: 64, 119, 127, 161, 293, 320, 353, 405 & 654 plus Rail Replacement services from time to time.

The Barking Branch Line operates between Gospel Oak and Barking via Blackhorse Lane. The line is operated by London Overground using Class 172 trains.

Throughout 2015, a number of new vehicles will be introduced following bus route contract renewals or awards. All vehicles will be fully accessible, DDA compliant and to the latest emissions standards meaning cleaner vehicles.
